I. PRICES: USD (UNITED STATES DOLLARS)

Pricing and products in our catalog are subject to change without notice. Future shipments at prices shown in any Pentel publication are accepted for shipments during current year only. Shipments at later dates in the next year will be billed at the prices prevailing at that time.


II. MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTS:

Quantities vary with product ordered. Check individual page for minimum order requirements. Absolute minimum is 50% of the catalog minimum. A less than minimum charge of $40.00 (Z) will apply. Plus additional services such as screen, running charges, PMS match etc.


III. YOUR ORDER MUST INCLUDE:

  1. Item number and description
  2. Quantity per item
  3. Imprint method and colors desired; specify Pantone® (PMS) color and number
  4. Exact copy typed, not handwritten
  5. Copy instructions and layout
  6. Artwork in an EPS vector file format
  7. For repeat orders, provide previous Pentel invoice number and your previous purchase order number
  8. Purchase order must have a USA bill to address, we only ship within the united states

Production ready art required or an artwork fee will apply.

Barrel colors may be assorted to meet order minimum; imprint color may be changed in increments of 100 pieces, the add copy must remain the same.

IV. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS:

Acknowledgments will be sent against all orders. Please check all acknowledgments for accuracy.


V. CORRECTIONS/CANCELLATIONS:

Any/all costs incurred by Pentel prior to notification of cancellation will be invoiced.


VI. OVER RUNS/UNDER RUNS:

All orders are subject to 5% over or under run. Standard orders requesting an “exact quantity” will be charged $15.00 (Z).


VII. PRODUCTION TIME:

From Acceptance of Order and Pending Credit Approval
Production time is noted in working days on each product page.


VIII. BLACK & WHITE E-PROOF:

Paper proofs produced in two working days for $15.00 (G). Specify facsimile or e-mail.


IX. VIRTUAL PROOFS:

Virtual proofs produced in two working days for $28.00 (Z).


X. ACTUAL PRODUCT PROOFS OR SPEC SAMPLES:

Proofs produced in five working days for $28.00 (G) plus:

  • Cost of products
  • Any other applicable service charges such as setups, screens, artwork, second color, master die, running charges and freight


XI. SCREEN OR SET-UP CHARGE:

No screen charges on the 1st imprint color with catalog minimum orders, $35.00(G) screen or set-up charge may apply when catalog minimum quantity is not met.

  • Screen Charge: $35.00 (G) per color after the 1st imprint color or image plus a run charge of $.20(G) per pen per additional imprint color.


XII. STANDARD SCREEN PRINT COLORS:

Screen Print Colors: White, Black, Red (PMS 193C), Blue (Reflex or Process), Green (PMS 347C), Brown (PMS 462C), Orange (PMS 165C), Pink (PMS 232C) PLUS Screen Print Metallic Colors of Silver, Gold or Copper. Any colors other than stndard require a PMS color match charge of $25.00(G) per color.


XIII. PMS COLOR MATCH:

$25.00 (G). Please provide Pantone® PMS number or color swatch. Color matches may vary slightly depending on the product color. Every effort will be made to match color(s) as closely as possible but cannot be guaranteed.


XIV. FULL-COLOR PROCESS:

  • Type of Imprint: Full-Color Process (Digital CMYK)
  • Imprint Area: 2" x 3/10"
  • Set-up charge: No Charge at catalog minimum, less than minimum set up charge is $35.00 (G)
  • Metallic imprint ink NOT available
  • Production: Five working days from acceptance of order by Pentel
  • Artwork: Must be production ready CMYK EPS compatible art. Minimum of 600dpi. An artwork charge of $30.00(Z) minimum will be applied for any work required. This includes reductions, enlargements and typesetting additional copy with logo. All fonts must be converted to paths.


XV. ARTWORK:

All artwork must be production ready, to actual imprint scale, or an artwork fee will apply. A charge of $30.00 (Z) minimum will be applied for any file alterations required. This includes reductions in excess of 50%, and typesetting additional copy with logo. NO PHOTOCOPIES OR HALFTONES accepted. Text smaller than 6 pt. is not recommended, and all text must be converted to outlined vector shapes before submitting. Vector art accepted in Adobe® Illustrator EPS format. E-mail artwork to imprint@ pentel.com. Artwork and screens retained for two years, unless advised otherwise.


XVI. COPY CHANGE:

Minimum catalog quantity within an order. Check individual product page for minimums.


XVII. RETURNS:

No merchandise will be accepted for return without prior written authorization from Pentel Factory. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and will be returned to sender. The recipient should immediately inspect merchandise upon receipt. Factory should be notified immediately of any errors or defects up to 30 days after receipt. Merchandise with an incorrect imprint due to Pentel Factory error will be replaced at no charge IF returned within 30 days of shipment date. No credit will be issued for merchandise which is unavailable for return to factory.


XVIII. SHIPPING INFORMATION:

Shipping destination available in the United States and Puerto Rico only

  • Method: Normal-UPS® Ground on most orders; larger shipments will be sent via surface truck freight. Multiple drop shipments of three or more will be subject to a charge of $8.00 (g) per each ship-to location
  • Charges: FOB shipping point CA, 91311, freight prepaid by Pentel and billed on invoice
  • Third-Party Freight Billing - All orders being billed on a third-party account are subject to a $9.00 (Z) handling charge.
  • Any freight billing adjustments due to invalid or incorrect information will be invoiced to your account
  • No USPS. - Exceptions - HI and AK
  • For preferred freight carriers, must provide account number and billing zip codes, additional logistic planning time applies
